Volupties: Plus Size Underwear Subscription Box Review

Volupties is a new plus size underwear subscription box! Volupties sends out 3 pairs of cute underwear a month to subscribers!  Plus size underwear can be expensive and ugly. I find that it is hard to find a cute pair of affordable underwear when I am out shopping. Volupties has taken out the stress of trying to fund affordable cute underwear! Each month they will send you 3 pairs of underwear, in your size! Each month you will receive some assortment of boyshorts, briefs, thongs, or lace or cotton underwear, it is always a surprise! You never know what you will get! This subscription box is shipped out at the end of each month! Non-plus size underwear is offered through their Splendies subscription box!

Volupties costs $18 a month, but you can get your first month at a discount when you use the coupon code GABBY. This will save you $5 off of your first purchase. Each month you are able to change your size, your address, billing information, or cancel your subscription. There are no contracts you have to sign, so if something comes up and you are unable to keep paying for the box, you can cancel without any fees! If you choose to keep your subscription you are billed every 30 days. Shipping in the United States is free, the box recently opened up to Canadian subscribers, shipping to Canada is $7, billed when the box is shipped. Canadian orders may take longer to arrive than US orders. The underwear is shipped in a discrete waterproof white envelope. If you need to change your size cancel your subscription, or change any other information, simple email the company and let them know what size you will be needing.

Use the size charts to choose your size!

I am a HUGE subscription box lover, so I just had to try these out! I think this is a totally fun idea. What woman doesn't love underwear shopping?! They made is so much easier for women of my size to access affordable underwear from brand names! I often find myself buying boring underwear, because cute plus size underwear can be super expensive.

The first pair I tried were these butterfly ones. They are simple and cute. The lace at the top adds a hint of femininity to an otherwise plain design. These were really soft and super comfortable. They are great to wear on any occasion (as long as the clothes I am not wearing white bottoms!). They fit me just right! These are from the brand Cacique and cost $14.50 per pair, making this a steal considering the subscription box is only $18 a month for three pairs of underwear!

The next pair I tried are these cute soft-pink ones. This pair is made from a polyester and spandex blend. This blend gives them a unique feel. They are super soft and smooth. They fit perfectly, I don't find myself needing to constantly pull them up. The materials is a little heavier than the other two pairs. I feel like I will be able to wear these under just about anything without a line showing. These are from the brand Hips & Curves, a popular plus size underwear company. I was not able to find them on their size, so I cannot comment on the exact price, though many pairs are around $12 and up.

I don't think I would have chosen this next pair myself, so i am glad I received it as a part of this subscription box because it turns out that I LOVE them. I think they quirky, and I LOVE quirky! The material is mesh-like. The layers give them a fun-ruffle effect. I would wear these on looser pants or dresses, as I think there may be a line with tighter clothes. These are from the brand Spreegirl Curves. I found them on their site and they are sold for $16.

So, after checking out prices for each pair, this subscription is a GREAT deal! It is made even better with the coupon code  Gabby that will save you money of your first month! This is a great service, give it a try! If I weren't a broke college student I would totally sign up to receive this box each month! I am hoping to join it in the future!
